Inland Empire Sled Dog Association
2024, 53rd Annual Priest Lake Sled Dog Race: CANCELED!
As of this time, after a hard look at trail conditions, as well as the forecasted weather outlook,
the IESDA has decided to cancel the Priest Lake Sled Dog Races.
This was a tough decision to make as this is only the 3rd time in memory that we have had to cancel this race.
But, with that being said trail conditions are super punchy and soft, and safety of our canine athletes
is a major concern. Also of concern is participant safety since it is hard to even walk in most areas.
We make this decision on the heels of many other local races having to cancel this season.
We were hoping for a change in weather, but it does not look like it will be favorable for us this year. We wish to
thank all of our entries and sponsors that stepped up this year to help us in trying to make this race a success.
